A couple years ago backstage at Rockygrass I asked Peter Rowan to autograph
a copy of this print for me. He really liked it and asked me to send him
some copies. I did and, out of the blue, years later, he emailed me and asked
if they could use it for this Happy Traum produced songbook. Of course I was
thrilled, as I am a huge Peter Rowan fan. Check out: |

This close up of Michael Kang's hands was taken while covering the Austin City Limits festival for Jambase.com in Sept of 2002. I submitted this photo along with a couple of others to String Cheese via their website and I guess they liked it. I think it came out rather well. |

I used to live in Woodside, Ca which is a very small community in the SF Bay Area. Through a mutual friend I met Rebecca Holland, a locally well-known artist and painter who lives and works at the Lobitos Creek Ranch (www.lobitoscreekranch.com) where documentary films are made. She contacted me when they were hired to film a concert DVD of the legendary 60's power trio, Mountain. The shoot took place last summer in Petaluma, Ca at the beautiful Mystic Theater. A couple of my photos were used on the packaging and in the bonus section of the DVD. It was great working with friends, Rebecca and Steve and also the guys in the band. |
